Bathing tips:

  • Wash skin with soap and lukewarm water 37°C.
  • NOT LONGER THAN 5 MINUTES!
  • Avoid bubble baths - irritation.
  • Gently absorb water from the skin, especially in the folds, avoid rubbing it.
  • Right after each bathing with water, on well-dried skin, apply a protective cream specifically designed for baby skin care.
  • Diapers should be changed frequently. The diaper region is particularly sensitive because it is a closed region and is conducive to the growth of bacteria. Frequent wetting can damage and facilitate the ingress of irritants. Urine and feces, which are strong alkaline agents, alleviate skin damage.
  • Use mild soaps and baths specifically designed for baby skin


The massage, which can be practiced by mothers, has a particularly pleasant effect on the baby's skin. Touch gives the baby a feeling of security, comfort and love and is a necessary factor for the baby's development. Oil massage is more useful. The oil should be soft, optimally viscous and not cause friction, close the skin pores and allow the skin to breathe. Massage is recommended after the 10th day. The massage stimulates the circulation, through the stimulation of the lymph flow the immune system is strengthened, the discomfort in infantile colic, gases in the stomach, constipation is reduced. The baby's sleep improves and the coordination in the babies improves.
